What & How We Treat
Diagnosis and Assessment
Our therapists will perform a complete evaluation to find the exact causes of your shoulder pain. This may include factors such as joint mechanics, range of motion and muscle imbalances.Range of Motion Exercises
We develop customized exercises designed to improve flexibility – as well as enhancing range of motion in the shoulder joint, creating better mobility and relieving stiffness.Strengthening Exercises
Our therapists prescribe exercises to strengthen the muscles around your shoulder (including the scapular stabilizers and rotator cuff). This will help reduce strain, increase stability and prevent injuries in the future.Posture Correction
Our physical therapists will provide you with guidance on proper shoulder and neck posture. This is a critical factor in preventing and relieving shoulder pain that’s associated with poor alignment.Joint Mobilization and Manipulation
We utilize hands-on techniques focused on reducing pain, improving joint mobilization and restoring normal shoulder joint function. In addition, we use trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilization and massage to relieve muscle tension and improve overall tissue health.Education
Our physical therapists will help you understand and improve your shoulder condition by teaching you about contributing factors, self-management strategies and preventative measures.Cuff and Scapular Stabilization Exercises
We provide specific exercises that target scapular stabilizers and rotator cuff muscles. This helps to promote better shoulder mechanics and reduces the risk of impingement. What Our Patients are Saying

I dreaded hearing that I needed physical therapy! But after my first 5 minutes at Precision, the dread had vanished. All staff members are friendly and we would chat like we were old friends. Rachel, my assigned PT, was amazing. She was concerned about my pain, progress and continued healing. She would push me "just enough".

The worst injury I had was a torn rotator cuff. The therapists at Precision helped me in my recovery, then subsequently gaining motion and functionality back in my arm and shoulder. Immediately after surgery, I didn’t think it would be possible, but they have shown me that with consistent work, and a little patience that it is possible to regain strength and mobility that I had lost with the injury. I highly recommend their dedicated staff for all rehabilitation needs. They are a wonderful team of dedicated, compassionate and caring individuals.
