Woody Ortego PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Regional Manager
Woody Ortego earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University-Houston in 2012. He is a native of Eunice, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise Science degree from the University of Louisiana—Lafayette. After graduation from TWU, he moved back to the Acadiana area to be closer to family and friends and joined the staff at Precision Rehabilitation in September 2012.
In 2016, Woody completed the fellowship program with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, obtaining his FAAOMPT. This is the highest level of education in orthopaedic manual physical therapy that consists of two and a half years of postgraduate training and 440 hours of one-on-one fellowship training. In 2018, Woody was honored to join the faculty at The Manual Therapy Institute allowing him to help train physical therapists enrolled in the orthopaedic manual physical therapy fellowship program.
Woody decided he wanted to be a physical therapist at a very young age. His father was in a vehicle accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. His father said many times that if it was not for his physical therapist he would not be functioning as well as he is today. Woody attended physical therapy too due to multiple sports injuries through-out high school. Both he and his father’s experiences planted the desire for Woody to become a physical therapist. His personal experiences allow him to relate to his patients’ and understand a lot of the pain and frustrations they may be going through. His education allows him to help patients with their own injuries and improve their quality of life.
Ross Landry PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Ross Landry earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2013. He is a native of Abbeville, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana—Lafayette. After graduation from LSUHSC-New Orleans, he returned to Acadiana to be closer to family and friends. Ross joined the staff at Precision Rehabilitation in November 2013.
In 2018, Ross completed the fellowship program with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, obtaining his FAAOMPT. This is the highest level of education in orthopaedic manual physical therapy that consists of two and a half years of postgraduate training and 440 hours of one-on-one fellowship training.
Ross decided he wanted to be a physical therapist after he tore his rotator cuff pitching in his junior year of high school. His passion to help others in similar situations drove him to become a physical therapist. Since graduating, Ross has gained experience working in home health, inpatient acute care, as well as, outpatient physical therapy.
Michael Smith PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Michael Smith earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University-Houston in 2017. He is a native of Lafayette, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Human Movement from Louisiana State University. After graduation, he moved back home to be closer to family and friends and joined the staff at Precision Rehabilitation in August 2017.

Being raised in a family of healthcare providers, he knew he wanted to work in a profession that made a different in people’s lives. Michael first became interested in physical therapy after sustaining a severe ankle injury in junior high while playing basketball. It quickly became evident to him that good physical therapy can help provide a faster return to normal activities. He enjoys spending one-on-one time with his patients, being able to provide hands-on intervention and having a positive impact on their lives. This drives him to continue to develop into the best possible physical therapist he can be.
Rachel Lafleur PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

Rachel Lefleur earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2018. She is a native of Tallahassee, FL and earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2015. After graduation, she moved to Lafayette, LA and joined the staff at Precision Rehabilitation in August 2018.
In 2022, Rachel completed the fellowship program with with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT). This is the highest level of education in orthopaedic manual physical therapy that consists of two and a half years of postgraduate training and 440 hours of one-on-one fellowship training.
Rachel always knew she wanted to be in a field that would be helping others improve their quality of life. She broke her ankle in college and had to receive physical therapy. She loved the one-on-one, hands on care she received and immediately knew this was the field she wanted to pursue. She loves having the opportunity to be a positive impact on her patients’ lives.
Mallory LeBoeuf PT, DPT
Staff Therapist – Abbeville Office
Mallory LeBoeuf earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine - Austin, TX in 2020. She is a native of Perry, LA and graduated from Abbeville High School. Mallory earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in August 2017.
Mallory is currently enrolled in the Elite Therapy Solutions Residency Program. This is an orthopaedic residency program that is a postprofessional planned learning experience, approved through the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship, comprised of a curriculum encompassing the essential knowledge, skills, and responsibilities of an advanced physical therapist. Mallory began her training in 2021.
Mallory became a physical therapist after watching her father struggle with chronic pain. She knew she wanted to be able to help him one day, as well as other people like him, get back to life without pain. Her favorite part about being a physical therapist is being able to interact with people that come from all walks and backgrounds of life. She enjoys having the ability to make a difference in people’s lives, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
Kyle Babin

Kyle Babin earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2013. He is a native of Lafayette, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana—Lafayette. After graduation from LSUHSC-New Orleans, he moved to Austin, TX, where he became a certified Postural Restoration physical therapist. After living in Mandeville for the past 3 years, he decided to move back home to be closer to friends and family.

Christopher Avel
Patient Services Supervisor
Christopher Avel earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Chris grew up in Crowley, LA where he gained his interest in the medical field due to his father being diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Chris joined Precision Rehabilitation as a clinical aid in October 2014, and after some time was promoted to Office Manager. He strives to provide excellent customer service and enjoys the relationships he develops with both patients and staff.
Taylor Babin
Marketing Representative
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science, focusing in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019. She enjoys connecting her education from ULL and the physical therapy industry. Taylor is a native of Lafayette, LA. She joined Precision Rehabilitation in April of 2022 as the Marketing Representative. She is looking forward to growing the Precision brand in the Acadiana area while continuing to create a positive physical therapy experience to those in the community.
